Faces of Exhaustion on the frontlines against Covid-19
I want to share some of the portraits I worked on during April of 2020. Just as people started to learn the extent of this pandemic. I titled it Faces of Exhaustion on the frontlines against Covid-19. A series I pitched to Maclean’s and was lucky to have it accepted. This is Mount St. Joseph’s Robynne P. , Registered Nurse, Operating Room. “My mother was diagnosed with COVID-19 last week. She has lots of co-morbidities and she’s not healthy. She has COPD, and she’s got arthritis, and she’s on immunosuppressants, so the whole picture is not very good. And she’s in South Africa in Hospital. I’m living with that as well as doing this.” *Update - Robynne’s mom passed away.
